Dashboards · Explore

Your finance command center.

Turn the data BankSync already syncs into dashboards you actually want to look at. Drag widgets onto a canvas, build net-worth, spending and portfolio views, then embed any chart into Notion, your app, or a client portal. It all updates itself.

Drag, drop, and resize widgets over synced bank data.

your data, your tools

Your data stays yours. The view comes to you.

BankSync keeps syncing transactions, balances, holdings and loans into the tools you already use. Dashboards add a place to see all of it, and because every widget is embeddable, you can drop it straight back into Notion, a spreadsheet, a client portal, or your own product. Build it once; it lives wherever you work.

good questions

Frequently asked questions

What are BankSync Dashboards?

BankSync Dashboards (Explore) let you build custom financial dashboards from your live bank, brokerage and crypto data. Drag widgets onto a canvas (KPI cards, bar and trend charts, allocation donuts, and tables) to create a finance command center that updates itself on every sync.

Can I embed BankSync charts and widgets in other tools?

Yes. Every widget can be embedded outside BankSync: in your own app, a client portal, a Notion page, or alongside your spreadsheets. The embedded widget reads the same live data, so it refreshes automatically without any charting code to maintain.

Does my data have to leave my own tools to use dashboards?

No. BankSync keeps syncing your data into Notion, Airtable, Google Sheets or Excel exactly as before. Dashboards are an additional way to visualize that same data. You can build a command center inside BankSync, embed widgets back into the tools you already use, or do both.

What chart and widget types are supported?

Dashboards include KPI and stat cards, bar and column charts, trend and area charts, allocation and donut charts, ranked lists and leaderboards, and filterable tables with saved views. Each widget can be filtered, grouped and aggregated independently.

Are dashboards real-time?

Dashboards always reflect your latest synced data. Bank Feeds refresh on the schedule you choose (or on demand), and every widget (including embedded ones) updates to match. There is nothing to refresh or rebuild by hand.

Which data sources can dashboards read from?

Widgets read from your live bank feeds and from the destinations you already sync to (Notion databases, Google Sheets, Airtable and Excel) as well as your own SQL databases (Postgres and MySQL). That means you can put charts on top of any source without moving the data into a separate BI tool.

Can I build a dashboard per client?

Yes. Combined with Client Portals, you can give each client their own connected accounts and a dedicated dashboard, then roll everything up into one view for yourself. It is ideal for bookkeepers, advisors and accountants reporting to multiple clients.

Can AI build dashboards for me?

Yes. Ask Penny can read your data, answer a question, render the right widget inline, and pin it to a dashboard for you, so you can build a dashboard just by asking. You can also build everything manually with the drag-and-drop editor.
