BankSync allows you to automate your feeds on a schedule that works for you. This guide helps you set up scheduled feeds to keep your data up-to-date automatically.
Schedule Options
When editing a feed, navigate to the Schedule tab to configure automated syncs:
Daily
Sync runs once every day at your specified time
Weekly
Sync runs on specific days of the week
Monthly
Sync runs on a specific day each month
Lookback Period
Set how far back each sync should look for new transactions:
1 Day
Best for daily syncs
7 Days
Best for weekly syncs
30 Days
Best for monthly syncs
Custom
Specify number of days
Time of Day
Setting Up a Scheduled Feed
Edit Your Feed
From your Feeds tab, find the feed you want to schedule and click to open it.
Navigate to Schedule Tab
Click on the "Schedule" tab in the feed editor.
Enable Scheduling
Toggle "Automatically sync periodically" to on.
Set Frequency
Choose how often: Daily, Weekly, or Monthly. For weekly, select which days. For monthly, select which day of the month.
Set Time
Choose what time of day the sync should run (in UTC).
Set Lookback Period
Choose how many days of transactions to include in each sync.
Recommended Configurations
Personal Finances
Daily sync at 2:00 AM with 1-day lookback
Business Accounts
Daily sync at 6:00 AM with 3-day lookback
Monthly Reporting
Weekly sync on Monday at 7:00 AM with 7-day lookback
Important Notes
- If a scheduled sync fails, it will attempt to retry automatically
- You'll receive notifications for failed scheduled syncs
- You can still run manual syncs even with scheduling enabled
- All scheduled times are in UTC timezone
