BankSync surfaces workspace events that need your attention through the notification bell in the
header, next to Ask Penny. The bell shows how many unread notifications you have; opening it lists
your workspace's notifications, newest first, and loads older ones as you scroll.

Notifications are tied to real conditions in your workspace. When the underlying condition is
handled — for example an enterprise offer is activated, or a bank connection is repaired — the
notification resolves itself and stops counting toward your badge. Resolved notifications stay in
the list as greyed history so you can see what happened.

## Reading and clearing notifications

Read state is personal: marking a notification read, or using **Mark all read**, changes what you
see without affecting anyone else in the workspace.

Acting on a notification (for example choosing **Review offer**) marks it read and takes you
directly to the right place in the app.

## Banners

Important notifications also appear as a banner across the top of your workspace until you act on
them or dismiss them. Dismissing a banner hides it for you only — other members still see it. If
the notification is refreshed (for example your BankSync contact re-sends an updated enterprise
offer), the banner reappears, because the content has materially changed.

Some notifications are targeted: an enterprise offer, for instance, is only shown to workspace
Owners and Admins, since activating it changes the workspace's billing.

## Enterprise offers

When BankSync prepares an enterprise agreement for your workspace, the contact on the agreement
receives an email, and workspace Owners and Admins see a notification and banner. Choosing
**Review offer** opens the activation page where you can review pricing and add a payment method.
Once the offer is activated (or withdrawn), the notification resolves automatically.
