Every template installed in a workspace is listed under **Settings › Workspace › Installed templates**, with its status and everything it made.

## Status

- **Installing** — resources are still being made.
- **Installed** — everything was made. A step your plan does not include is left out on purpose and shows “Included on *plan*”; after an upgrade, open the install and choose **Add what your plan now includes**.
- **Needs attention** — something failed or must be fixed before it can run; open it to see which resource and why, and choose **Retry** or fix it.
- **Waiting for approval** — an automation it made is switched off until a workspace owner or admin approves what it may do. Approving it also switches it on.
- **Changes need approval** — an automation that is already running has published changes waiting for an owner or admin; the version before keeps running until they are approved. Approving switches nothing.
- **Waiting for a feed** — a chart it made has no data yet; it fills in after its first feed runs.
- **Your plan now includes more** — the install left out a step your plan did not include, and your plan includes it now. Choose **Add what your plan now includes** on the row.
- **Update available** — the creator published a new version.

## Updating to a new version

Open the install and choose **Update**. You see, resource by resource, what the new version changes. BankSync keeps the edits you made; where your edit and the creator's change touch the same thing, you choose which to keep. Nothing is overwritten without you seeing it.

From the same page you can also **rename** an install, **rebind** it (choose a different bank, feed or destination for a requirement), or **retry** the resources that failed.

## Removing an install

Choose **Remove**. You decide what happens to what it made:

- **Keep what it made** — the dashboards, automations and tables stay in your workspace as your own.
- Or move them to **trash**, where you can restore them like anything else you delete.

Things the install adopted rather than created (an existing sheet or table you pointed it at) are never touched. Removing works even when the marketplace is switched off for your workspace.

## Your template library

**Save as template** on a dashboard, or choose resources in the workspace tree, to keep a template in your workspace's library without publishing it. You choose who sees it: **only you** (the default) or **everyone in the workspace**. A private template is invisible to other members, keys and apps.

Saved templates can be renamed, updated and deleted; a deleted one can be restored for 30 days. A workspace can keep up to 200. To share one with other workspaces, publish it as a listing — see [Publishing a template](/docs/marketplace/marketplace-publishing).

Developers and agents reach the same library through `/v1/blueprints`, the `blueprints_*` MCP tools and `banksync blueprints`.
