Home
Use the Home page as a workspace-level dashboard for onboarding, connected accounts, integrations, feeds, portals, enrichments, and recent sync activity.

Home is the first workspace view in the authenticated app. It behaves like a dashboard, but it is
pinned to the workspace at /:workspaceId/home and starts in a viewing state so cards cannot be
moved accidentally.
Before anyone customizes Home, BankSync keeps it dynamic. New workspaces see onboarding actions. Workspaces with connected banks, integrations, feeds, portals, or enrichments see summaries of the resources they already use. This means Home stays useful as the workspace changes without requiring setup.
Customize Home#
Users with workspace edit access can select Customize to make Home editable. The first edit creates a protected workspace dashboard named Home, copies the current dynamic layout into it, and then applies the change.
In edit mode you can:
- Add platform widgets, like connected banks, account balances, integration status, feed history, portal lists, enrichment summaries, and recent sync activity.
- Pin existing workspace widgets onto Home.
- Drag, resize, and remove widgets from the Home layout.
- Reset Home back to the dynamic default.
The Home dashboard appears in dashboard management as a protected system dashboard. It can be opened from there, but it cannot be renamed, moved, deleted, duplicated, published, or embedded.
For the full walkthrough, including native widgets, viewer permissions, and reset behavior, see Customizing Home.
Reset Home#
Resetting Home removes the protected Home dashboard and the system widgets that were created for it. BankSync keeps user-created widgets that were only pinned onto Home, so resetting the page does not delete reusable dashboard content.
After reset, Home returns to the dynamic default and adapts again to the workspace's current banks, integrations, feeds, portals, enrichments, and sync history.
