Everything you tell BankSync — a bug, an idea, a question for support, a bank or tool we do not
support yet, a request to hear when your bank is available — reaches the team as one record that
someone triages. This page explains where to send each kind, and what comes back.

## Where to send what

| You want to… | Where |
| -------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Report a problem or ask support a question | **Settings → Support** in the app, signed in |
| Suggest a feature or send general feedback | **Settings → Support**, choosing the feedback type |
| Ask for a bank we do not support | The **Request a bank** link when a search finds nothing in the connect dialog |
| Hear when a bank or region becomes available | The waiting-list form shown on a bank that is not open yet |
| Get a template, or early access to a feature | The form on that template's or feature's page on banksync.io |
| Talk about plans, enterprise or partnerships | The [contact page](https://banksync.io/contact) on banksync.io |
| Get help when you cannot sign in | The [contact page](https://banksync.io/contact), or email <support@banksync.io> |

Send support questions from the app when you can. Signed in, we know which account and workspace
you mean without asking, and the reply can use that. If you cannot sign in, use the contact page
on banksync.io or email <support@banksync.io>.

For the full conversation workflow, see [Contact support in the app](/docs/account-billing/contact-support).

## What happens next

- **Support questions** get an email reply from <support@banksync.io> straight away, with a first
answer drawn from our documentation, and a person follows up.
- **Feedback, bank and integration requests** get a short thank-you email. Requests are counted,
so the team can see which banks and tools are wanted most.
- **Waiting-list signups** get a confirmation for the bank or region you asked about, and your
choice about hearing back is kept with the request.
- **Template requests** get the template link by email.

> **From the website:** 'Forms on banksync.io are protected against automated abuse, so a submission can occasionally ask you to wait a moment and try again. An email address typed on the website is used only to answer that request; the team replies from its own mailbox rather than from inside BankSync, because a website form cannot prove the address is yours.'

## From an AI agent

An agent connected to BankSync over MCP (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and others) can send a bug
report, a feature request or general feedback for you with the `send_feedback` tool. It files the
same record the app does, as you, and notes which agent sent it; the reply comes to your email, not
to the agent. The agent's credential needs the **Send feedback** (`feedback:write`) permission,
which is write-only: it reads nothing back and changes nothing in your workspace. Support
questions still go through **Settings → Support**.

## Privacy

What you send is used to answer you and to decide what to build. The address a request came from
is stored with it, and a request sent while signed in is linked to your account.
